Train fares to be up during festive season
The Ministry of Railways is exploring the possibility of raising the train fare for the trains operated during festive occasions.

Sunday pattern of working for PRS centres on Dec 25
The Computerised Passenger Reservation Centres in Chennai Division of Southern Railway will function for only one shift, similar to Sunday pattern of working (08.00 hrs. to 14.00 hrs), on 25.12.2017.

Special fare special train from Coimbatore to Jabalpur
Train No.02197 Coimbatore - Jabalpur weekly special fare special train will leave Coimbatore at 19.05 hrs. on 08th, 15th, 22nd, 29th January, 05th, 12th, 19th, 26th February, 05th, 12th, 19th, 26th March.

Special fare special train from Ernakulam to Yesvantpur
Train No.06548 Ernakulam - Yesvantpur special fare special train will leave Ernakulam at 14.45 hrs. on 03rd, 10th & 17th January, 2018 and reach Yesvantpur at 04.30 hrs. the next day.
