Avadi trains cancelled due to scheduled maintenance work
As maintenance works have been taken up in the Ambattur Railway workshop, Avadi train has been cancelled. The train starting from Chennai Central Moore Market Station at 12.15 AM to Avadi is cancelled.

Groundwater level improves in south Chennai now
In Tiruvottriyur zone and in the Ambattur zone there has been a marginal decrease in the groundwater level now when compared to the month of November. In all other zones, the groundwater level has improved due to the NE monsoon.

Onion prices have reduced, Chennai residents happy now
The onion prices have dipped to Rs 50 per kg now and there could be a further reduction in the onion prices in the Pongal festival season. This was as per some onion traders.

Power Shutdown Areas in Chennai Tomorrow (03.01.2020)
