Till 25th January, there would be polio vaccination drive for the children
Caused by poliovirus, polio is an infectious disease and in 0.5 % of cases, there would be weakening of muscles leading to inability to move. Hence, it is important to give oral polio vaccine to the children to prevent them from getting affected by polio.

New sensory parks to come up at Valasaravakkam and Kotturpuram in Chennai
The new sensory parks would be making their presence felt in Sakthi Nagar in Valasarawakkam and in Kottur Gardens in Kotturpuram. An amount of Rs 3.5 crores would be spent on these 2 parks.
