TASMAC liquor shops to remain closed on Thiruvalluvar day!
Chennai District Collector, Ms. A. Sundaravalli, announced that all TASMAC liquor shops in Chennai will remain closed on Thiruvalluvar Day on 16th January & republic Day on 26th January.

State Electricity regulation board to explore implementation of power cuts in unbiased approach!
The state electricity regulation board as scheduled a discussion tomorrow (Tuesday, 13th January) to decide whether to stop the current system of power cut imposition in districts other than Chennai or whether to impose power cuts to all districts including Chennai.
