6% DA hiked for pensioners and family pensioners by Tamil Nadu Government
Following the orders issued by the Government of India, the Tamil Nadu Government has now decided to sanction one additional installment of Dearness Allowance at the rate of 6 % to the Pensioners / Family Pensioners of the State with effect from 1-1-2015.

Chennai Metropolitan Water supply and sewerage board to undertake enumeration work
Due to delimitation of Chennai City, Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) has proposed to take up enumeration work to update master records of consumers or assesses in all newly added areas.
