Chennai Meteorological Centre: prospects of heavy rains in coastal & delta districts
An official from Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that the low pressure zone formed over the bay of Bengal has now stabilised over the ocean near Kanyakumari. Hence, it has been raining for the last 24 hours.
