Use Rs 500 and Rs 1000 note at railways, but get refund only as TDR
The demonetized rupee notes worth Rs 500 and Rs 1000 are accepted by the Indian railways for an extended period. These notes can be used for ticketing and onboard catering and ticket refund until 14th November.
