The price of tomato has gone up like a rocket in several districts in Tamil Nadu. The tomato is sold at the rate of up to Rs. 100 per kg in the retail market.

Toll gate charges up in ECR
The toll gate rates have been revised at the ECR (East Coast Road) after a gap of 15 years. The state government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the revised charges would be effective from 15th July.

Tomato price up to Rs. 60 per kg in Koyambedu market
