The National Egg Coordination Committee at Namakkal has revised egg rates and reduced by 0.15 paise. Accordingly, the farm purchase price of an egg is fixed as 350 paise. Price reduction in other zones.

Gold rate decreased Rs.176 per sovereign
The cost of gold has decreased Rs.176 per sovereign on Tuesday morning (March 7, 2017). A sovereign was worth Rs.22392.00 and a gram was Rs.2799.00. The cost of 1 gram of pure gold (24K) is now Rs.2995.00.
