Vaccination for Zika virus - Kudos to Indian researchers

Indian scientist has discovered vaccination for Zika virus that is fast spreading among South American countries.
Bharat Bio-technology scientists at Hyderabad have discovered two vaccinations and have got patent for the same. Zika virus has been fast spreading in more than 20 South American countries. This is caused by day time mosquitoes. This will not spread from one human to the other. However, possibilities are that a fetus can acquire the disease from the infected mum. Affected infants will be born with tiny head and in a different shape.
Vaccination
According to latest sources, Indian scientists have discovered a vaccination for the disease and have also acquired patent for the same. This will be rolled out for sale in the market upon receiving government approval, say Dr Krishna Ila, the chief of Bharat Bio Technology Ltd. He added that the vaccine has to be approved by Indian medical council and central government.
Dr Sowmya Swaminathan, the chief of Indian medical council stated that necessary actions to approve the vaccination will take place once it passes through scientific tests performed on it.
Dr Ila also added that 10 lakh vaccinations can be manufactured in a span of 4 months. Though the virus has been prevailing since long time, it is only in the recent times that many nations have started taking efforts to discover vaccination. But Indians have run the extra mile to discover it first. There are appreciations received from all corners.
Tests from next month
The centre has alerted the public not to visit nations that are affected by the virus. As of now, there is not enough facility in our country for testing the presence of this virus. Hence, the necessary medicines and equipments to test the presence of Zika virus will be brought to India by the month of March. The testing kit will be priced Rs 5000.
