First VIMEDIX OBGYN Ultrasound Simulator in India at Chennai Mediscan

Chennai Mediscan has for the first time has introduced VIMEDIX OBGYN Ultrasound Simulator in India. In India ultra scan can be done by doctors only. To do this scan, one should be trained and should get the permission from the Government. This ultra sound examination can be done only in real pregnant ladies. The VIMEDIX Ob/Gyn Ultrasound simulator accelerates training for obstetrical and gynecological (OB/GYN) physicians and sonographers, allowing users to gain proficiency in skills associated with obstetric ultrasonography, including fetal ultrasound imaging, gestational age assessment and evaluation of the maternal adnexa. The Ob/Gyn simulator features a 20-week fetus with realistic fetal and maternal anatomy, a variety of fetal positions and both normal and pathology cases.
