Chennai Metro Rail Project: Phase-2: Underground Tunnel WORK AT Chennai Mandaveli in full swing!

The underground tunneling work between Greenways Road and Mandaveli in the Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase-2 is currently underway at full swing.
Chennai Metro Rail officials have shared that out of the total underground tunneling work covering 790 meters, 265 kilometers of underground tunneling work has been completed.
The Chennai Metro Rail Phase-2 project encompasses a total of 116.51 kilometers across three corridors and is progressing rapidly. The third corridor stretches between Madhavaram and Siruseri, with 26.7 kilometers of underground tunneling forming part of this segment.
A section of the underground tunneling work between Chennai Metro City`s Greenways Road and Mandaveli commenced last October. Underground tunneling work is ongoing in several places within this corridor as well as the other two corridors.
In this scenario, the underground tunneling work in the section between Greenways Road and Mandaveli in the third corridor of Madhavaram-Siruseri in the Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase-2 is progressing at full speed.
