First of its kind Wi-Fi enabled shoe

Virgin America, Eleven Inc. together with SearchnDesign in Milan, Italy has created the first of its kind Virgin America First Class shoe. The inspiration is got from Virgin America’s First Class amenities. This features Wi-Fi connection, mood lighting, video display and it also comes with an in-built phone charger.
The only pair is getting auctioned on Ebay and the bid is currently at $8,700 which is equivalent to Rs 5,80,000 approximate.
The shoe is handcrafted in Milan, Italy. It is made of white leather. The shoes get powered by rechargeable battery that can withstand for up to 3 hours.
Proceeds of the auction will be donated to Soles4Souls which is a non-profit charity for fighting against poverty achieved through distribution of shoes and clothing. Further, the shoes will be packed in plexi glass display with LED lighting at the time of delivery.
