British Council brings UK-India collaboration to Tamil Meambattu Book Fair/Chennai Book Festival

British Council is delighted to showcase the UK-India collaboration through its products and services at the upcoming Tamil Meambattu Book Fair / Chennai book festival. The festival will exhibit a gamut of book collection from Friday 21 July 2017 to Monday 31 July 2017 at the YMCA Grounds, Royapettah. The British Council stall will be open on weekdays from 2.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. and on weekends from 11.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
During the festival, the British Council will provide exclusive offers for all new and renewed library memberships which include memberships for individuals and families. There is also an online library membership that can be accessed anywhere within India. This includes a discount on the membership fee and a gift with every new or renewed membership.
Mei-kwei Barker, Director, British Council South India said, The Chennai Book fair provides an opportunity for parents, students and young professionals to know more about the British Council’s offer on education and learning, our library collection and digital offer as well as other activities.
