Walkathon for World Kidney Day

The department of Pediatric Nephrology of Dr. Mehta’s Hospitals, Chetpet along with Department of Social Work, DG Vaishnav College is organizing an awareness walk as a part of World Kidney Day and International Womens Day, on Sunday 11th March 2018, 7:15 am at Elliot’s beach, Besant Nagar. The walk will be flagged off by Ms. Poornima Bhagyaraj, and Ms. Sangavi, Actor.
The walk aims to spread awareness on increase in Kidney related issues especially in Women and Children. Around 300 college students and general public is expected to participate. Registration fee for students is Rs 75 and for others it is Rs 150, the proceedings of which will go to KIDS KIDNEY CARE a non-profitable organisation which aims to help children with renal problems.
