25,189 students have applied for duplicate certificates in the special camp

School Education Secretary S Kanappan has mentioned that 25,189 students have applied for duplicate certificates in the special camp held. 132 special camps were set up to issue duplicate school certificates lost in the recent floods and rains in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Cuddalore districts. The camp which began on 14th came to an end on Monday. Education Secretary has mentioned that 12,350 have applied for 10th certificate while 7,444 have applied for Plus 2 certificates. 5395 have applied for copies of transfer certificates.
