The cost of gold has increased Rs.8 per sovereign on Saturday evening (June 17, 2017). A sovereign was worth Rs.22096.00 and a gram was Rs.2762.00.The cost of 1 gram of pure gold (24K) is now Rs.2900.00.

Traffic changes in T. Nagar - Nungambakkam subway route from 19th June
Maintenance work is to be undertaken in the Nungambakkam subway (Loyola subway). The maintenance work will be done in 2 months from 19th June. On account of this, some traffic changes have been announced in this route.
