Maintaining proper body condition in the Winter

Some of us get anxious about the skin problems encountered during the Winter Season. Even when the body skin has adequate oil content, the skin tends to become dry. Some ready tips using the ingredients available all time in the house can be followed to keep the skin proper and shining.
  • Apply coconut oil on the body rubbing well before taking bath every day. This will protect the skin.
  • Grind tomato and apply on the skin and massage. This will prevent drying of skin.
  • As we tend to use hot water during the cold season, it may lead to dryer skin. So, it is advisable to use warm water.
  • One of the best tips for preventing drying of skin is to drink plenty of water. By taking plenty of water, the skin tends to be soft and shining.
  • During the winter, especially the lips go extremely dry . To prevent the lips from drying up, apply some butter on the lips before going to sleep every night.
  • Mix coriander leaves juice with butter and apply around the eyes. You will find that trhe dark rings around the eyes are gone within a week.
  • Apply tepid milk on the face, keep for some time (say, 20 minutes), and then wash. This will reduce the dryness of the facial skin.
