Home remedies for toothache

It`s really hectic and irksome to bear with the tooth pain especially when you need to wait for your turn to consult with the dentist. Not just for the easy availability of the medicines, but home remedies for tooth ache are effective as well. There are several possible side effects with pain killers when popped in for subsiding the pain. Pepper, basil and turmeric:

Pepper is a preferred solution for reducing tooth pain as it has got anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties. Ayurvedic medicines recommend the use of pepper alleviate sore throat and use different medicinal mixes for reducing toothaches.
 
Though Tulsi or basil leaves cannot be of help in reducing fever or to keep other health ailments at bay, it can be helpful in reducing toothaches.
 
Turmeric is yet another medicine that can be used on cuts or wounds, sore throat, cold, etc. It has got excellent healing properties that provide relief for various ailments. The phenolic compounds naturally present in turmeric provides double effect of antiseptic and disinfectant.
 
When all the above three ingredients are combined and used, it will alleviate the pain and initiate the process of healing.
 
How to use?

·         Take two or three basil leaves and wash it thoroughly

·         Add a pinch of turmeric powder and pepper powder to it. Place it inside two or three basil leaves and place it in between your teeth for about two or three minutes. This will significantly reduce the pain

·         Practice this twice or thrice a day as it can also help in reducing the ultimate cause of infection and give permanent relief out of the pain
