What to eat when training

It is important to feed your body the right way before a heavy working out or specific training. Avoid fried foods and simple carbohydrates like juices. Here are foods that should be eaten. 

FRUIT SMOOTHIES: Easy and quick to make, smoothies contain carbohydrates and proteins necessary for best results. Mix together a glass of orange juice and equal portions of natural yogurt and fruit of your choice. (recommended amount is ½ cup of each). 

OATS: Rolled oats are rich in fiber and so release carbohydrates in your body. Vitamin B in oats also helps convert carbs into energy. 

BANANAS: Rich in easily digestible carbohydrates and potassium. 

PEANUT BUTTER: A great source of healthy fats and good carbohydrates, peanut butter also helps in good heart health.
