Election Commission of India establishes 24 hour control room

Announcing the Lok Sabha polling dates, the district administration and police officials have slipped into election mode here in the district. The city corporation as per the orders of the district collector has started removing political bill boards in the city.
A toll free 24 hour control room has also been established at the district Collectorate and information on any violation of the model code could be passed on to the officials at 18004257024.
So far 237 complaints have been lodged in 4 days.
