Chennai Meteorological Department Forecasts Rain in Coastal Tamil Nadu, Above-Normal Temperatures in Interior Districts!

According to a press release from the Chennai Meteorological Department, Tamil Nadu may experience light to moderate rain in coastal and adjoining districts on the 8th, 9th, and 10th due to variable wind direction in the upper atmospheric layers of South India. Dry weather is expected elsewhere.
Until the 8th, maximum temperatures may exceed normal levels by up to 5 degrees Fahrenheit in a few places across Tamil Nadu. Interior districts of North Tamil Nadu may reach 106 degrees Fahrenheit, while most plains in interior districts could hit 102 degrees Fahrenheit, and coastal areas may experience temperatures around 99 degrees Fahrenheit.
