Tirupathi Lord Venkateswara temple - VIP Darshan for the devotees who had written Govinda 1 Crore times!

After presiding over and conducting the conference of the new endowment board of the Thirumalai-Tirupathi Devasthanam Board, the president of the Board held a session with the press reporters:
"We have planned to distribute 1 Crore Bhagavad Gita books for FREE to school students!
Furthermore, just as it is a tradition to write `Sri Rama Jayam` several times as a form of prayer or meditation, devotees who write the name `Govinda` 1 Crore times will be allowed to have a VIP Darshan along with their families!
For devotees who have written the name of `Govinda` 100,116 times, one member of the devotee`s family will be granted VIP Darshan.
The Brahmotsavam this year falls in September-October, during the Tamil calendar month of Purattasi. As a very large crowd of devotees is expected during this period, activities have already been initiated to reduce the waiting time for devotees to have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara!"
