Prospects for heavy rains from 16th to 18th December!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for heavy rains for 3 days from 16th to 18th December due to a cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
In a notification released by the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, it is mentioned:
“Due to the cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere, there are prospects for medium rain in a few places and heavy rain in 1 or 2 paces in coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikkal for 3 days from 16th to 18th December.
As regards the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs, the sky will remain cloudy for the next 24 hours. For the next 48 hours, the sky will remain partly cloudy. There are prospects for mild rain in a few parts of the Chennai Metro City.
