Why we must not leave our career or jobs for relationship?

Around us, we see many these days giving up their careers or jobs after getting into relationship or marriage etc. Though it is up to the individual to decide to leave their jobs or not for the sake of relationship, there are few reasons that would make a person to think twice about leaving their careers/jobs for the sake of relationship.
The various reasons why we must not leave our jobs/careers for relationship are
We could become independent:
We all love to be free and independent in our lives and not depend on someone for the sake of money. The job or career assures us money and make us confident in our lives. By being independent, we would be able to live our life as per our choice and not as per the partner’s instructions.
We could become financially stable:
We could earn money for our sake and it would be superb. It must be noted that in relationship we spend lots of money on date nights, shopping, surprising our partner whereas the job or career would fetch money based on the skill and hard work and in the times of crisis we would be able deal with the situation easily.
We could get secured future:
This is one important reason why we should not leave our career for relationship. The career or job would give you enough money to make your future secure and this security might not be possible in the relationships. Relationships might give bitter memories but career might not give that bitter memories to a person.
We could take care of family:
By taking care of our family, we could get a sense of inner pride and peace. If you are the sole earning person of the family, then it is better to stick to the job and look out for better opportunities rather than getting involved in a relationship.
