Do you know about these foods that could cause hallucinations or dizziness in us?

We all eat different varieties of foods and these foods could result in emotions like happiness, confusion etc.

Many of us do not know that not only the foods that we consume could give us a sense of fullness but also it could also make us feel tired, cause bad dreams etc. 

It is important to note that hallucination is a perception in the absence of external stimulus having the qualities of real perception.

These below mentioned foods could cause hallucination in us.

Nutmeg:
Belonging to genus of evergreen trees, nutmeg has got a compound named Myristicin is a compound in them and this compound could feel us dizzy when we consume nutmeg. It is said that 2 tea spoons of nutmeg has the power to make us feel dizzy for one day.  It is known that these nutmegs are seen in Australia and south-east Asia etc.

Coffee:
When consumed in large quantities, coffee could also lead to hallucinations in us. Here, caffeine present in coffee could make us feel dizzy. It is believed that caffeine intoxication could take place a lot sooner than we could imagine.

Rye bread:
This is also one food that when consume could make us feel dizzy. This bread is prepared by mixing various proportions of flour from rye grain. It must be noted that the fungus ergot that appears on rye bread has got strong psychoactive chemicals in it.

Poppy seeds:
Small amounts of morphine are present in poppy seeds and when they are taken in excess amounts then we could get hallucination. Vomiting, swelling inside mouth etc could take place.

Chilli peppers:
There are no psychoactive compounds available in chilli peppers. It is revealed that when hot foods like chilli peppers are consumed then hallucinations could be caused as a mixture of panic due to pain and rush of feel good endorphins.
