The Indian Institute of Engineering, Science, and Technology (IIEST), located in Kolkata in the State of West Bengal, is one of the premier educational institutions in the country.
Introduction
This institute commenced operating in the year 1856 in the name of ‘Bengal Engineering College’.
During the year 2014, the institute name was changed as IIEST as above as the country’s 1st IIEST.
Presently, the institute has 8 educational institutions functioning offering courses in 16 faculties as both graduate and postgraduate courses with 4000 students.
The Institute’s main motto is to offer research in various subjects/fields with the latest hi-tech facilities and play a significant role in the growth of the country. It has helped bring out highly skilled engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs.
