From Wednesday, light to moderate rains in Tamil Nadu due to weather system

Here comes the latest news about weather for the people belonging to the state of Tamil Nadu.

According to the meteorological department forecast, a developing weather system over Bay of Bengal might be responsible for light to moderate rains across most districts of TN. This would begin from Wednesday, 11th September onwards. It is worthy to note that thunderstorm activity is expected to revive over TN due to the upper air circulation that is likely to form.

The monitoring of the weather has been going on and the developing system might move towards the state of TN. This was according to Mr. Puviarasan, director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, Chennai. He added that many parts of Chennai would get rains due to the connective activity.

The shocking piece of information is on Monday places such as Madurai, Thoothukudi and Nagapattinam experienced scorching heat and the temperature touched 40 degrees.

Information collected is Nungambakkam recorded 36.3 degree Celsius and that was 2 degrees above the normal. Meenambakkam recorded 35.2 degree Celsius. It is now said that those in places like Virudhunagar and Tirunelveli would experience high temperatures.

Mr. Puviarasan explained about how searing mercury levels would occur in September during changing position of earths tilt towards sun. The point is transition towards autumn equinox would influence hot weather over many parts of TN. Till Wednesday, the meteorological department has predicted light to moderate rains over some places in the Chennai city. The temperature of the day is expected to be around 37 degrees.
