Chance of rains in the next 2 days in Chennai

For three days together, Chennai city experienced dry weather after consecutive days of rains. The latest news is for another 2 days there is likelihood of rains in the Chennai city. The reason for this is due to the convective activity triggered by the high day temperatures.
It was mentioned by the meteorological forecast that the condition of sky is likely to be cloudy in the evening and in the nights. Light rains are likely to occur in some places in Chennai.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 36 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 27 degree Celsius. It was later pointed out by a meteorological department official that light rains might occur in some parts of Chennai. It must be noted that cyclonic circulation might come into play but it might not be the major cause for the rains in the Chennai city.
Beginning from Monday, many private weather bloggers have forecasted many spells of rains in Chennai. Chennai weather blogger, Mr. Pradeep John mentioned about the chances of rains in Chennai beginning from Monday. There would be few spells of rains from middle of the month of September till early October month and this was as per the meteorological official forecast.
Point to be noted here is the mild rains would reduce next month as southwest monsoon would start withdrawing and the condition for northeast monsoon would begin. Important information is the day temperature has started to pick up. The mercury levels touched 35 degrees Celsius at 12:30 pm on Sunday and 37 degrees Celsius at 2:30 pm and then began to reduce.
It must be noted that on Saturday the temperature was lower and crossed 35 degrees Celsius only at 12:45 pm and began to dip only after 5:30 pm. On the 1st of June the southwest monsoon started and it is now said that Chennai city received 21% surplus rains by this and that is superb. As the monsoon would enter the break period, there is likelihood of more spells of rains in Chennai city in the coming days.
