Rains for 2 more days in Chennai

According to the forecast made by the meteorological department, there would be rains in Chennai city in the evening for 2 more days. It must be taken into account that most places in Chennai received rains on Wednesday and that was for third successive day. Convective clouds played an important role in the evening rains in Chennai.
Information is in some places in Chennai the intensity of brief spell of rains was strong. Since Tuesday night places such as Marina and other coastal places as well as Tambaram, Sriperumbudur etc received 1 cm rains. It is important to note that the rains continued into the night in some places.
It is interesting to note that northern and southern parts of Chennai received more rains when compared to western and central parts of Chennai. Meenambakkam received 2.6 mm of rains and Nungambakkam received 3.6 mm rains till Wednesday evening. The rains in Chennai were also due to cyclonic circulation as well due to sea breeze.
Point is clouds that formed in west moved towards east and covered the entire Chennai city around 6 pm. As the cyclonic storm prevented the clouds from moving into the sea, there was small but intense spell of rains in Chennai. According to the weather blogger, Mr. Pradeep John, north Chennai got the nature balancing spell in the evening. He mentioned that it was the turn of southern Chennai and its suburbs to receive rains.
Information gathered is the rains started in northern outskirts like Madhavaram, Red Hills and Puzhal and moved to core places like Nungambakkam, Shenoy Nagar and Koyambedu etc. Heavy rains have caused water stagnation on some roads now. The day temperature would be lowered due to the rains. It is revealed that the maximum temperature would be around 34 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature would be around 25 degrees Celsius.
