Job Opportunities in the Department of Tourism!

An announcement has been released for filling up the vacant posts of assistant Tourism Officer in the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Tourism.
As per the normal rules, this recruitment will also be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), There will be 2 examinations for the above post.
The last date for applying: 20th August
The last date for paying the fee: 22nd August
The written examinations
Marks - 500
- Paper-1 - Travel and Tourism - 10.00 AM 29th September
- Paper-2 - General - 2.30 PM 29th September
- Paper-1 - The questions will be in English
- Paper-2 - The questions will be in English and Tamil.
The candidates who secure a minimum of 150 marks will be qualified.
The examinations will be conducted in Chennai, Madurai, and Coimbatore.
Qualifications: It is mandatory that the candidates must have a completed s course on tourism.
