On Friday, 19th April, results of class 12 would be announced

In the month of March 2019 more than eight lakh class 12 students wrote their state board examinations. It is now revealed that on Friday, 19th April 2019 the results of class 12 would be announced as scheduled.
D. Vasundra Devi, director of government examinations, said that the students would receive their results through SMS. The important point is school wise results would be sent to the schools online. It must be noted that the schedule of the examinations and declaration of the results were announced at the start of the 2018-19 academic year itself. It is now brought out that the school teachers might not be able to go the schools in the morning after doing poll duty in the previous day. The information collected is there were some pressure from the minority institutions regarding the postponement of the results as 19th April is Good Friday.
The school education department would be releasing the class 12 results as scheduled on 19th April. Important point is the students would be able to know their results from the following websites namely www.tnresults,nic.in, www.dge1.tn.nic.in, www.dge2.tn.nic.in.
In a release from DGE officials, the students could download their mark sheets from 20th April to 26th April through their schools. The students must pay Rs 275 to get the copy of their answer scripts and for re-totaling students have to pay Rs 205 for all subjects except Biology. It is said that for Biology subject the amount is Rs 305.
In their respective schools itself, the students could pay for re-totaling and revaluation. According to the press release it is clear that student who fails to clear the class 12 examinations could apply for the instant supplementary exams in the month of June. It is now revealed that the date for the supplementary exams would be announced separately. From 6th June 2019 till 13th June 2019, the supplementary exams would take place.
