Postgraduate medical curses - 901 seats filled

So far, 901 seats have been filled up for admissions in the postgraduate medical courses.
The counselling today (Thursday, 4th April) is scheduled for the caste-based quota.
There are 1073 seats available under the state government quota in the government medical colleges and private medical colleges for the postgraduate courses of M. D. and M. S., etc. The counselling for students for the coming year`s postgraduate medical courses commenced on 1st April in the Chennai Omandhurara multi-speciality hospital.
Over the 1st 2 days of counselling, 736 seats got filled. In yesterday’s (Wednesday, 3rd April) for the open community cadre, 747 candidates participated and 165 candidates were awarded seats for admission.
So, during the 1st 3 days, 901 seats got filled. Today’s (Thursday, 4th April) counselling is for the other cadres left.
