CBSE class 12 board exams to start on February 15

From 15th February 2019, the class-12 board exams for the Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to begin. A likely number of 28 lakh students will probably appear for the exam counting both class 10 and class 12 exams.

Admit card for CBSE board exams 2019

Admit cards for both class 10 and 12 are released by the CBSE board. This includes both regular and private students. Students can log in with their respective register id for getting their admit card. Students can collect their admit cards for board exams 2019 at their respective schools.

Instructions for admit card

 At the time of receiving the admit cards at the school, the students ought to verify the details of their correctness. Below will be contained in the admit card:

·         Signature of school principal

·         List of subjects that the student has opted to along with corresponding subject code

·         Signature of the student

·         Photograph of the student

·         Personal information of the student

Counselling for CBSE class 10 and 12 board exam 2019

Furthermore, CBSE board has also started psychological counselling not just for students, but also for the parents so that it helps in overcoming the exam-induced stress.

There is also interactive voice response system using a toll-free number. In this, the students and parents can gain access to pre-recorded information for coping with the board exams. There will be tips to perform better in exams and manage stress and time management tips, and FAQs.

Instructions for CBSE candidates

The date sheet has complete details including duration for each paper

The students must meticulously stick to the time mentioned on the question paper

Around 10 to 10.15 a.m. the answer books will be given away to the candidates

On the answer book, the answers shall be written

The Assistant Superintendent shall check out the particulars and get it signed

The question paper distribution will take place at 10.15 am

Between 10.15 am and 10.30 am, it is the time to go through the question paper

For writing answers, the candidates can sketch out a perfect strategy

And the actual exam would start at 10.30 am.

The practical exams for private candidates who appear for the first time will take place at theory exam centres unless any change in notification is mentioned.

For this, the private candidates can get in touch with the principal of school to know the date and time of exam. By 5th of April 2019, the private exams should have got over for the private or Pantrachar candidates.

At the respective schools of the candidates, practical exams will be held. The dates for practical exams may be fixed by the principals of schools upon consulting with the examiners.
