Loyola College Students on Fast arrested

Around eight students of the Chennai Loyola College and their supporters who were on fast for the last four days were arrested on the midnight of Sunday and were admitted to Royapettah Hospital, for medical treatment.
According to the police, the students were on fast for the last four days and their health condition seemed to be deteriorating. In order to save them, the police arrested the eight students and some of the supporters of the students.
Police took some of the supporters to a nearby Community hall and sealed the place of the fast.
The students and many supporters were demanding the Indian Government to support the passing of the USA resolutions at the Geneva Human Rights Meet.
