Group-1 selection by TNPSC - Interviews from 21st January

The last phase of the recruitment by TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) for posts in Group-1 category, the interviews, is scheduled o be conducted from 21st December.
In a notification, the secretary of TNPSC, Nandhakumar has mentioned:
The announcement regarding the recruitment to fill up the 85 vacant posts in the Tamil Nadu State Government in various departments under the category of Group-1 was announced by TNPSC on 9th November 2016. The preliminary and the main written tests were conducted and the results were announced. The list of the successful candidates in the Main written examination was released on 31st December.
Subsequently, the next phase of the recruitment, the interviews for the above successful candidates, is scheduled to be conducted at the TNPSC office located near the Chennai Fort Railway Station from 21st January to 25th January.
The information regarding this has been conveyed to the candidates via SMS and e-mail.
Further, the invitation for the interview can also be downloaded from the official website of TNPSC www.tnpsc.gov.in.
The candidates must attend the interview as per the dates given to them. There will not be a 2nd opportunity for the candidates who fail to attend the interview as per the informed time and date.
Further, just the call for the interview cannot be deemed as a guarantee for job selection and a promise for the recruitment.`
