With the half-yearly vacation over, schools to reopen tomorrow (2nd January)

As the half-yearly/Christmas/New Year vacation gets over, the schools are all set to reopen tomorrow (Wednesday, 2nd January).
As per the State government of Tamil Nadu education department syllabus, the 2nd term examinations or the half-yearly examinations were conducted in the schools from 10th December to 22nd December. Subsequently, the schools were closed for half-yearly vacation from 23rd December for all classes.
The vacation comes to a close today (Tuesday, 1st January). So, the schools are set to reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, 2nd January.
As soon as the schools reopen, the 3rd term textbooks compiled on the subjects are to be distributed to the students.
The books have already been despatched to the schools through the offices of the District Primary Education Officers.
The director of School Education, Rameswara Murugan, has ordered that as soon as the schools are reopened tomorrow, the 3rd term textbooks must be distributed to the students without any delay and the teaching of lessons should commence promptly.
