Veteran actor Raja Sulochana passes away

Veteran film actress Raja Sulochana passed away in Chennai in the early hours of Tuesday. She was 77.
Raja Sulochana had acted in more than 70 Tamil films. She made her debut in acting through the AVM’s Sathiya Sodhanai. She had acted with the Tamil film stars like MGR, Sivaji Ganesan and S.S.Rajendran in several films.
She had acted with MGR in Arasilangkumari, Nallavan Vazhvaan and many other films. She had done several vampire characters in which MGR had acted as hero.
Her role with Sivaji Ganesan in Padithaal Mattum Podhuma had earned her good name.
Raja Sulochana, though became an American citizen she frequented India and stayed her house in Madipakkam,Chennai. She was not well when she came here last, and was admitted to a private hospital, but she died in the hospital on Tuesday.
