New Medical Courses in 4 Medical Colleges

Approval has been granted to introduce new medical courses in 4 Medical college/hospital complexes.
Villupuram Government Medical College – 30 seats each for graduate course on accidents and emergency treatments, a graduate course on surgery and unaesthetic, a graduate course on X-ray and identification of diseases, a graduate course on eye-testing and 4 seats for a graduate course on heart treatment
Pudhukkottai Government Medical college – 20 seats for graduate course on accidents and emergency treatments, a graduate course on surgery and unaesthetic.
Madurai Government Medical College - 20 seats each for a graduate course kidney blood analysis and testing
Vellore Government Medical College - 20 seats for a graduate course on medical laboratory testing, and a graduate course on medical assistants,
The new courses on medical education with 184 seats will commence from this academic year in all the 4 colleges above. The seats will be filled up as per the prevalent rules and regulations as per the Medical Education Examination Board.
