Application are invited for Admission in BDS Course

There are 618 seats vacant for admissions in the private dental colleges under the state government quota. The Medical Education Council has announced that the candidates who have passed NEET may apply again for the same.
Meanwhile, all the seats available for medical courses (MBBS) in the government and private colleges have been filled at the final stage counselling.
The 2nd stage of counselling for the dental course (BDS) for the government quota was completed on 29th August. There are 618 vacant seats. The candidates who have not applied for the dental course (BDS) so far are invited by the Medical Education Council to apply.
The 2nd stage of counselling for the administration quota for the BDS is being conducted today (31st August). So, candidates who are applying under the government quota are advised to apply in the administration quota as well.
The candidates who have not applied till 28th August for the medical courses may apply for seats under the government and administration quota for the seats in private dental colleges for BDS course.
The applications can be downloaded from - www.tnhealth.org.
The filled applications must be sent to – The Secretary, Medical selection Council, Kilpauk, Chennai - before 5.00 PM on 6th September.
Candidates from the open community cadre who have scored over 119 marks and candidates from backward classes, Adi Dravidas, and ancient tribes, who have scored more than 96 marks are eligible to apply.
