A special passport mela is to be organized at Vellore and Cuddalore on 2nd June. This special passport mela is organized on behalf of the Chennai Regional Passport Office at the Passport Service centres located in the Post Offices at Cuddalore and Vellore on 2nd June.
As per the request made by the office and factory going workers, the special passport mela is organized on a holiday on a Saturday.
Individuals interested in this need to register online their particulars on the official website of the passport office: www.passportindia.gov.in from 2.30 PM.
The applicants will have to get the AR No, (Application Registration Number) and pay the application fees also online and obtain the pre-registration time.
When they participate in the passport mela, they have to carry a print of the AR No, sheet, They also need to carry the originals of all required proofs and a set of the copy of these proofs self-attested.
Only the fresh applications and applications re-issue of the new passport will be received for processing. The applications already submitted for a further session like the interview and the rejected applications will not be taken for processing. Around 170 individuals are expected to avail the benefit of this special passport mela.
