Enjoy free metro travel today as well

The Metro Rail Services in the section between Chennai Central and DMS was inaugurated last Friday. In order to create the public awareness of this new facility, permission was given for free travel. As such, 120500 passengers have travelled in this section on Saturday alone. On the Sunday weekly holiday, 184518 passengers travelled and enjoyed the free ride.
In this scenario, it was announced that the free ride facility is extended on Monday as well (28th May). Further, it has now been announced that free ride is available on Tuesday as well (29th May).
It has been announced that passengers can travel free on the sections Central-Airport and Teynampet DMS-Airport. As trials are being undertaken on the Metro Rail expansion project, the arrangement of the free ride has been offered for 4 days.
