Temporary mark certificates for 10th students to be issued today

The temporary mark certificates for the students/candidates who wrote the 10th standard Public Examinations will be distributed from today (Monday, 28th May).
The students/candidates can also download the temporary mark-sheets from the website www.dge.tn.nic.in from today.
Further, the students can visit their respective schools and the private candidates can visit the centre where they wrote the examinations and obtain these temporary mark certificates. A special supplementary examination is scheduled to be conducted on 28th June for the students/candidates who failed in the examinations.
The candidates who were interested in the revaluation of their answer-sheets for the 10th Standard Public Examinations were given time from 24th May to 26th May to apply for the same.
However, during the same time, the Sterlite issue, the facility of the internet was cut off in the districts of Tuticorin, Kanyakumari, and Tirunelveli. So, the students/candidates from these districts struggled to send their applications for reevaluation. In this situation, the state department of examinations had announced that extension of time would be given once normalcy is returned in these 3 districts. Presently, internet facility is still not restored in the district of Tuticorin. As such, it is gathered that one day’s extension time has been given today (28th May) for the students/candidates from the districts of Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts.
