Tamil Nadu State Budget presentation on 15th March

The Deputy Chief Minister of the state of Tamil Nadu will present the state budget at the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly on 15th March.
The Legislative Assembly Sessions started on 8th January, After the thanking note on the state Governor’s address and other activities, the assembly adjourned without any dates announced for the next session.
Generally, the state (Tamil Nadu) budget is presented only after the presentation of the Central Government Budget.
The central government budget was presented on the 1st of the last month. Subsequently, the dates for the presentation of the state budget was eagerly expected.
In this situation, it has been announced that the state Deputy Chief Minister in charge of the finance portfolio, O. Panneerselvam will present the budget on 15th March, Mr. O. Panneeselvam will be presenting the state budget for the 8th time.
