Bus tickets - printed matter changed from black to blue

Generally, the trend world over for the tickets/receipts on handheld printers will be black letters on a white sheet.
Even the ATM receipts are similar. However, if checked after a week, it would be noticed that the letters have vanished.
As it has been established that these receipts out of the latest thermo-print technology-made handheld machines containing black tiny particles are harmful to the human body, this method is being banned all over the world.
So, a new system where the hand-held devices will print the letters in blue colour on a white sheet is being introduced.
The paper bundles are imported from abroad and being sent to other sections.
Presently, this new system is implemented in Chennai Metro buses. The printed matter in the bus ticket is in blue colour. This system has been followed in the hotels, tollgate bill receipts, and ATMs. The officials explained this change-over is done worldwide.
