Prospects of rain today in Tamil Nadu due to low-pressure zone

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that as a low-pressure zone has formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal, there are prospects of mild to medium rain in several places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained in this regard: As a low-pressure zone has formed over the upper layers of the atmosphere over the southwest Bay of Bengal, there are good prospects of mild to medium intensity rain in several places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today (Wednesday, 7th February).
The sky will remain cloudy. The maximum temperature will be 31 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 23 Degrees Celsius.
