Senior exponents in Tamil can apply before 20th June for monthly financial assistance

Applications are invited from senior exponents in Tamil language for the year 2018-19 under the scheme for providing financial assistance to senior Tamil experts.
Applicants who have completed 58 years of age as on 1st January 2018 with an annual income less than Rs. 72000 are eligible to apply.
Documents including income proof certificate obtained online, proof of having performed on the Tamil language, and reference letters from 2 Tamil exponents stating the applicant’s contribution in the Tamil language will have to be presented for this.
The application forms can be obtained in person. Otherwise, the application can be downloaded free from the website: www.tamilvalarchithurai.com
The selected applicants will be given a monthly assistance of Rs.2500, a medical allowance of Rs. 100 and free bus travel for the lifetime.
The applications must be sent before 20th June.
