A video on social media showing a rat bathing like a human has gone viral with almost 26 million views. The video was posted on Facebook on the page Akaso. The post has received mixed reactions. Many have shared the video, and some have tagged their friends, reminding them to take a bath!
The video shows a rat seemingly enjoying itself while rubbing its body with soap. It looks exactly like a human would while bathing. Some netizens have lashed out at the video says it is animal cruelty. They feel that the soap on the rats body could only have been applied by a human and not by the rat on its own. They also feel that it looks like the rat is trying to remove the soap or shampoo chemicals from the body and is not actually enjoying its bath.
