A new concession for the Railway employees

The Indian Railways has announced that the Railway employees, after their retirement, can continue their service on a contract basis for 5 years.
Indian Railways has fixed 60 years as the age for retirement. The Department of Railways has decided to avail the services of the employees who did an excellent job while in service and the rich experience of the senior officials who had excelled during their service.
In this regard, the Department of Railways has released an order sent to the Regional Head Offices, stating that retired railway employees may be appointed on a contract basis for the vacancies to be filled up. They will be paid on a daily-wage basis.
The employees on this contract can work for the 1st year. After this, the service may be extended up to 5 years.
