No holiday for Chennai schools today (Nov 27)

Schools in Chennai district will function today (Monday, 27th November). A holiday has been declared for all the schools in the Thiruvarur district today (Nov 27) due to heavy rains.
Weathermen expect the low pressure to continue moving west-northwestwards. Therefore, the southeasterly winds will strengthen and affect the weather of Tamil Nadu capital in the form of light to moderate rain and thundershowers during the next 2 to 3 days. Henceforth, these intermittent showers will continue to influence the weather over the city.
Mostly the weather will remain humid with cloudy sky conditions across Chennai. The maximum temperatures will settle between 26°C-28°C, whereas the minimums will be near 22°C-24°C.
